Below we'll go through the main types of controllers that we use, depending on the particular boiler brand used - as certain controllers will only work with specific branded boilers; e.g. Hive & Google Nest can be linked with any boiler brand whereas the Wave is designed for Worcester Bosch, the Halo is designed solely for Ideal boilers and the ESI is our standard free controller that comes with all boiler installations.

NEST Nest Thermostatic Controller
DESIGNED TO WORK ON ANY BOILER
The Nest Learning Thermostat uses self-programming technology to learn as you heat, calculating what times of the day you prefer it to be warmer or cooler. After just one week, Nest will then create an Auto-Schedule for your home, managing your heating so you no longer have to.
The Nest Thermostat learns from you. It gets to know the temperature you like when you’re at home and turns itself down when you’re away. It even learns how your home warms up or how draughty it is, so it only uses the energy it needs - that’s how the Nest Thermostat saves energy.
Choose Between Two Nest Models
Nest comes in 2 main models - you have Nest Thermostat E which is a standard controller and the Nest Learning Thermostat, which learns from your daily routine.
Each performs a different function so it's best to check the details of both models first, before ordering.

By programming your heating in an energy efficient way, Nest will also use the internet to check the weather forecast – preventing over-heating on warmer days and working hard to warm up your house on colder days.

The more you know, the more you can save. This is why Nest provides you with a history of your energy usage. Use this to help you dial down the temperature, and when you do, you’ll be rewarded with the Leaf icon on your LED thermostat screen.
Leaf will challenge you to choose temperatures a little lower than you are used to, and by turning the heat down by just one degree, you could cut your yearly heating bill by up to 5%.
Will it work in my home?
The Nest Learning Thermostat is easy to install and is compatible with most heating systems. Nest can also control your domestic hot water if you have an On/Off hot water tank and OpenTherm compatible system or combi boiler.
To install a Nest Thermostat, you'll need a professional. We will install it in the right location, connect the Heat Link, and set it up ready for you to use.

WAVE Wave Smart Control
Designed to work only on Worcester boilers
The Worcester Wave is a smart, internet connected programmable control for central heating and hot water which can be operated using a smart device.
This control is designed to have an 'intelligent conversation' with the boiler, the Wave takes advantage of advanced control features such as weather and load compensation. The Wave only requires a 2-core wire connection between the control and the boiler and it does not need an external wired sensor unlike standard weather compensation controls.
Using Latest Technology
The Worcester Wave is an internet connected thermostatic heating control for central heating and hot water and can be operated using a smart device.
The programmer’s intuitive and modern design ensures it is very simple to operate using either its built-in touch screen or via the wave app.

The Halo wireless thermostat is easy to install and gives you control over your home’s temperature with smart central heating technology.

ESI ESI Wireless Thermostat
Designed to work on any boiler
The ESI Wireless Programmable Room Thermostat comes pre-paired and has two-way RF communication at 868MHz radio frequency band to ensure a more accurate, stronger and quicker response compared to older styles and allows for a signal strength indicator.
OpenTherm Technology
