The Nest Learning Thermostat uses self-programming technology to learn as you heat, calculating what times of the day you prefer it to be warmer or cooler. After just one week, Nest will then create an Auto-Schedule for your home, managing your heating so you no longer have to.
The Nest Thermostat learns from you. It gets to know the temperature you like when you’re at home and turns itself down when you’re away. It even learns how your home warms up or how draughty it is, so it only uses the energy it needs – that’s how the Nest Thermostat saves energy.

By programming your heating in an energy efficient way, Nest will also use the internet to check the weather forecast – preventing over-heating on warmer days and working hard to warm up your house on colder days.

As the Nest Learning Thermostat is connected to the internet, you have the added luxury of controlling your heating from your smartphone, tablet or desktop. Whether you are cosy in bed or on the go, you can use the Nest App to adjust your heating and hot water at the touch of a button.
Energy Saving
The more you know, the more you can save. This is why Nest provides you with a history of your energy usage. Use this to help you dial down the temperature, and when you do, you’ll be rewarded with the Leaf icon on your LED thermostat screen.
Leaf will challenge you to choose temperatures a little lower than you are used to, and by turning the heat down by just one degree, you could cut your yearly heating bill by up to 5%.
Will it work in my home?
The Nest Learning Thermostat is easy to install and is compatible with most heating systems. Nest can also control your domestic hot water if you have an On/Off hot water tank and OpenTherm compatible system or combi boiler.
